Death Note

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Just watched Death Note just now. With such a title I was sceptical of watching it at first thinking it was a horror movie but really, it's not. It's more of a mystery/investigative story which had an ending I didn't quite enjoy. There were actually quite a few funny parts here and there admist all the people dying which was quite amusing. Anyway my friend was telling me how this movie is actually based on a comic and they didn't quite follow it. It's actually more complex in the comic than the storyline of the movie. Oh well, it was still enjoyable.
Argh, it's monday again tomorrow.

Parent-free weekend

Parents are away for the weekend which means that I can do anything I want including watching tv without getting interrupted or eating fast food for lunch.
Watched Casiona Royale on thursday courtesy of my company. The movie was alright, filled with action from the very begining till the end. My only comment is that, why him as James Bond?!?!?!
I realise that whenever I'm working, I have all this ideas of what to blog about but when I actually sit in front of the computer, somehow the juices don't start flowing.

The Adventure in a Warehouse

There is no need really for me to go pay an entrance fee to an amusement park where I won't find anything amusing or enjoyable. All I need to do, is just go for a stock take in a warehouse, hop into the cage of a forklift and voila. There you have it. Your very own ride. For a person who's afraid of heights, I wasn't looking forward to that. I was hoping and praying that I wouldn't have to go allll the way up there to count something. Alas. No such luck. Cos the other person I went with is equally afraid of heights. So in the end we both held on tight and went up anyway, with our eyes closed and cringing whenever the forklift moved. The worker who went up with us must have found it very amusing to see the look on our faces. Ugh. Thank goodness that's over and done with.

And that about sums up the exciting event that happened during the weekend.

Woohoo! Cecelia Ahern has a new book out. It's called 'A Place Called Here'. I'm so going out tomorrow to get it. She's a fantastic writer and I love all her books. One of her books, 'P/s I Love You' is going to be made into a movie so that's definitely a must see for me.

I'm now half watching a movie called 'Celullar' on tv. It's pretty exciting though I don't really know what's happening haha. It's ending soon anyway.

Sigh, will be working this weekend. Hopefully the hours won't be too long but I have to be at the warehouse at 7.45 in the morning! Nooooo there goes my sleeping in for the weekend.

Arghhh I just opened my mobile phone bill. I knew it was going to be high at the rate I was using my phone. Aaaaaaaaaaaa I sent 14 bucks worth of international smses and 101 local smses. This is what work does to me. When I get stressed/bored I'll start smsing people. And I just realised that it's a 100 minute plan meaning I get 100 minutes of free calls. Ladida. Must find ways to cut down cos I want to get a car.

Anyways that shall be all for today cos my laptop is getting a bit too hot for my liking and I want to catch the ending of Celullar. Have a good weekend!

What happened to the weekend?!

Noooooo the weekend should not only last for 2 days. It's not enough! Where did it go??? I need more time to relax! I wanna retire! :p

*Snaps back to reality*

Sigh. I have to work next weekend. Both Sat AND Sun. Hope that I won't have to work too long on sunday though. Why la you have to assign me to do stocktake during the weekend?! We need the weekend to recuperate from the long hours during the week so that we can function properly the following week.
Ladida, I really should stop complaining bout work.

Today my mom asked me how come I don't go meet up with my friends. Er, maybe cos they're too busy resting or studying? She wanted me out of the house or rather out of her sight cos apparently, I pull this long face when I'm at home. *Shrugs* Can't help it, am still in transistion mode.

I got my hair cut yesterday and didn't realise how long it has gotten until I looked at the floor after it was cut. And now it's a bit too short! And I look like a mushroom!

Anywhos, will try to blog more cos I feel better actually after doing so.

Good luck for exams and have a great week!

Fine... I'll try to blog more but it's just that the last thing I want to do after coming back from a long day of work is face the computer screen again. All I do nowadays online is just check my email and that's it. But since some of you guys have been bugging me to blog...here you go.

The trip to Melb was good of course except for the fact that I didn't expect it to be that cold and I got scolded by my mom for telling her to leave her thick jackets behind. Anyway, managed to bring back all of my stuff with somemore luggage weight allowance to spare but didn't have the space in our suitcases. Contributed lots to the retail industry making my dad a bit poorer and me with no more cupboard space. And yes, I still have clothes in my luggage and I don't really see myself unpacking that since I don't really have the time to clear my cupboards! But I really should...soon.

Work has been...blah. Good sometimes, not so good sometimes. It's alright if you're working with approachable and friendly workmates and well, not too good if you're not. I so need to get a car soon cos it sucks to rely on other people and parents for transport.

On the lighter side of things, I got my first pay! It is not much but WOO HOO! Finally had the time to withdraw some today so I'm going to treat my family to dinner tomorrow. As for you girls back in Melb, we'll go for roti prata! :D

I don't really have much to blog about not unless you want to come here everytime to see me whine about work cos so far, that's all I have going on. Okies, I gotta run. Till next time, tata!
