i'm sorry if u can't read the words to my previous post.

i'm sorry if my blog's not very interesting to read or nice for that matter.

i'm sorry if u msged me on msn and i didn't reply. (my internet's giving me problems)

i'm sorry if i went offline all of a sudden without saying goodbye.

i'm sorry if what i say hurt you in any way.

i'm sorry if i never said anything when you tell me your problems.

i'm sorry if i look dazed when you talk to me, i am listening. i don't need to be looking at you to listen.

i'm sorry if i make fun of you everytime.

i'm sorry if you pass me and i don't acknowledge you or smile. i only have 2 eyes and it's mostly used to look where i'm going.

i'm sorry if i laugh at you when you are in an uncomfortable position.

i'm sorry if i make fun of you in any way, i mean no harm.

i'm sorry if i've turned you away when you needed someone.

i'm sorry if i asked you questions that put you in an uncomfortable situation.

i'm sorry if sometimes i don't understand what you say and go "Har?!?!" because "Har?!?!" sounds rude.

i'm sorry if i ever did or said anything rude to any of you.

i'm sorry if i talk too loud or laugh out too loud.

i'm sorry if i act weird sometimes.

i'm sorry if you don't like what i say sometimes.

i'm sorry if i always say i wanna hit you or have hurt you physically in any way.

i'm sorry if i forgot something, no matter how small it was.

i'm sorry if you don't like me for who i am. you just gotta accept it.

i'm sorry if you are bored while reading this. i am bored as well. but that doesn't mean that what i've written above is not true. i mean it.

because...
it's never too late to say sorry

it takes courage
but it's worth the effort
it releases you
it enriches the other person
it ennobles you
it gives you both a new begining

"To see what is right and not to do it is want of courage." Confucius

What Flavour Are You? Cor blimey, I taste like Tea.Cor blimey, I taste like Tea.

I am a subtle flavour, quiet and polite, gentle, almost ambient. My presence in crowds will often go unnoticed. Best not to spill me on your clothes though, I can leave a nasty stain. What Flavour Are You?

I had a choice to choose nuclear waste if i didn't like the thought of me tasting like tea.

What Flavour Are You? I taste like Nuclear Waste. Delicious.I taste like Nuclear Waste. Delicious.

Tasting like nuclear waste is a good thing - nothing bites me, nothing eats me, few things even touch me. I appreciate the solitude my harsh exterior brings. What Flavour Are You?

Spend time with those you love

A man came home from work late & tired to find
his 5-year old son waiting for him at the
door."Daddy, may I ask you a question?"

"Yeah sure, what is it?" replied the man.

"Daddy, how much do you make an hour?"

"That's none of your business. Why do you ask
such a thing?" the man said angrily.

"I just want to know. Please tell me, how much
do you make an hour?" pleaded the little boy.

"If you must know, I make $20 an hour."

"Oh," the little boy replied, with his head
down.

Looking up, he said,"Daddy, may I please borrow
$10?"

The father was furious, "If the only reason you
asked that is so you can borrow some money to
buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you
march yourself straight to your room and go to
bed. Think about why you are being so selfish.
I work long hard hours everyday and don't have
time for such this childish behavior."

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut
the door.

The man sat down and started to get even angrier
about the little boy's questions. How dare he
ask such question only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the man had calmed
down, and started to think: He may have been a
little hard on his son. Maybe there was
something he really needed to buy with that $10
and he really didn't ask for money very often.

The man went to the door of the little boy's
room and opened the door.

"Are you asleep, son?" He asked.

"No daddy, I'm awake", replied the boy.

"I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you
earlier," said the man, "It's been a long day
and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the
$10 you asked for."

The little boy sat straight up, smiling."Oh,
thank you daddy!" He yelled.

Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out
some crumpled up bills.

The man, seeing that the boy already had money,
started to get angry again.

The little boy slowly counted out his money,
then looked up at his father.

"Why do you want more money if you already have
some?" the father grumbled.

"Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,"
the little boy replied.

"Daddy, I have $20 now. Can I buy an hour of
your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I
would like to have dinner with you."

*************************************************

Share this story with someone you like....

But even better, share $20 worth of time with
someone you love. It's just a short reminder to
all of you working so hard in life. We should
not let time slip through our fingers without
having spent some time with those who really
matter to us, those close to our hearts.

time really passes very fast. *blink* it's monday. *blink* it's the end of the week.
MISS ONG HUI YIN is bored. she's ALWAYS bored whenever she's online. and how do i know she's bored?
by typing the word "bored" repeatedly till she can't type anymore in the limited space that msn gives.and hits enter. and copies and pastes it time and time again. and hit "send" more than 10 times. and she complained that i reply her slowly. rite...
i think i better stop or else i will get bashed....but luckily she's a bit sick so she doesn't have her full energy.
rite. now back to the questions.

1. How do you put a camel into a fridge?
open the door, stuff it in and close the door.

2. How do you put a giraffe into a fridge?
open the door, take out the camel, put the giraffe in and close the door.

3. How do you put 5 elephants into a Volkswagen?
open the driver door, stuff one in. same goes for the passenger side and the 3 places behind.
(when i asked my dad this, he went "How can an elephant fit into a volkswagen?!?!?!)hehehe

Ok...one more question.
How do you put 10 elephants into a Mercedes? (5-seater)

WOOHOO!! i have 6 more DVDS waiting for me back home!!!!

of worms and riddles

WORMS

Nobody loves me
Everybody hates me
I wanna eat some worms (eat worms!)

Big one, small one
Tiny little squirmy one
See how they wiggle & squirm

I bite off their head (chargh)
Suck out their blood (slurp)
Throw the skin away (ka-phui)

Nobody knows how I eat the worms
Three times everyday!!!

she can lift u up and throw u into the bin
and she can't stand rum but loves gin
and beware cos she can make u spin!
and she can break a peanut with her chin
but dun make fun of her or she'll kick u in the shin
okie fine hui yin...u WIN

and with that i stopped since she called me "XIAO" for more than 3 times

and this was what she told me

michelle the ding dong bell
who lives in the well
and has a farnie smell
that repels
everybody who can tell
its michelle

first of all...HEY! u stole my word!!! ding dong bell!!!!
how mean can she get???

oops...sorry.
hmm wonder whether it was because i was rudely awaken at 5 something this morning. some animal was in the roof scratching...ARGHHH!!! I HEAR IT NOW AS WELL!!!! WTH is HAPPENING?!?!?! *takes the mop and bangs it against the ceiling*
*SiLencE*
gooooood. yes...the scratching early this morning went on for quite a while. and me being blur when i'm sleepy thought i could get that noise to go away by banging my hand on the wall. hope my neighbour din hear that... only after like banging the wall with my fist did i realise that it was coming from the ceiling! tell me, which tom, dick and harry is going to drag yourself outta ur nice warm bed and away from your nice warm feathery blanket to go get the mop from the toilet and bang it on the ceiling??? well not me. it was irritating but after a while it went away.

it was cold today. really really cold. i always start my entry off with the weather don't i?
now now...my assignment. guess what? steven actually did his part. and what was his excuse for not sending it earlier? or even calling one of us back? or even emailing us? he was in queensland. he din bring his phone and didn't have our emails or something like that. said that he finished it on monday before he left i think. well hellllllloooooooooooo. *knock knock* anybody home?!?!? u could have sent it on monday itself right? and i already like did half his part before my friend called to tell me he just sent his part to me!grrrrr. forget it.
jus now i went down to the common room to microwave my dinner. and what do i find? one of the freezer doors of the fridge was not closed properly. (uh-oh) and when i looked inside, the tupperware with some kurma inside which used to be frozen was not frozen. uh oh. and my pizza was not frozen anymore! so i had to eat it...grrrr....wonder who din close it properly? and y din it close properly? cos some boxes were jutting (is that how u spell it?) OUT. so the door could not close. right....
hmm...someone told me to write something sweet. how am i suppose to??? when my friend just told me how some weird ppl were talking to her on the train and bus! and how this freaky guy keep asking her for her number in the bus and wanted her to take his pic with her camera phone. luckily, she called one of our guy friends to meet her at the bus stop. FREAKY. thank goodness nothing happened.
hmmm something sweet. something sweet. well apparently someone back home misses me! booo....miss u too! but yea...

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
excuse me while i vent my anger over here for a while. please be patient.
my group assignment is due on monday. there's 3 of us. 2 of us have already done our part and i'm suppose to compile everything up. my friend has been calling him for days but he never answers! i sent him smses and still not a single reply. not to mention an email. if he doesn't send anything to me by tomorrow afternoon, my friend and i have to do his part! GRRRRRRRR!!!! how irresponsible can one get?!?!?!
ahem. on a lighter side, i ate at subway today with Hui Yin, Amy and Felicia! they jus opened one at clayton and are having a special today---> Buy 1 and get 1 FREE! had the chicken teriyaki one...mmmm goooood. there's one back home in 1 utama as well i think. but i think it's quite pricey, or so says my mom. but nevertheless...it's good!
another ARGHHHHHHHHHH!!!! the hols has ended! now it's back to classes and tests and more assignments to come!
well at least the weather today feels like autumn. with cool strong winds that made our hair go flying and with the rain that we hardly get over here.
oh and also we were at this liquor store in coles. then i saw this gurl who looks oh so familiar. we were like looking at each other...then i realised who she was. Felicia knows her as well. it's nice to see a familiar face unexpectedly.
hmmm now i'm waiting for 5pm so that we can play baddy! hopefully the wind and rain doesn't spoil our game! hehehe time to disturb Amy and irritate her again! *rubs hands together and laughs evilly* MUAHAHAHHAA
okie i'll shut up now.

i'm tired. my legs are tired. went to Fountain Gate shopping complex today. it's in Narre Warren. huh? where u say? it's in zone 3. the suburb after Berwick. so from today onwards i can say that "I've been to Berwick campus of monash!!!" it might be a small tiny campus compared to clayton but it's definitely nicer looking since it is newer. Syl and Amy were quite excited when they saw a row of bushes that looked like hmmm i dunno how to describe it. it looked like the cap of the mushroom??? i dunno...
also...on the way to the shopping complex, i sat next to "someone" (better not mention her name or else...) and she was squishing me against the window! she went "Hmm...i want a boyfriend" *at this point of time i stared at her wondering what made her say that* "Did u jus say that u want a boyfriend?" with raised eyebrows i asked her. "Yeah. so that i can do this to him on the bus" she said as she squished me yet again against the window." at this point fo time, i decided to pay no attention to her, thinking that she is out of her mind. but that's just typical her.
well, we spent quite a while at the Berwick campus before going back. spent it at the student lounge where we played pool and foosball for FREE!!! luckily no one else was there to see me embarass myself with my "skills" with the exception of Felicia and Amy of course. a game of foosball would give u exercise, especially with the way Amy was playing. she jus kept spinning all her sides like she was scared that her satay was gonna burn while it was cooking on the grill.
ooooo i saw a rainbow today!!! while we were walking back, there it was. it was a lovely sight and we were trying to find the end of the rainbow. and when i looked back, the sun was setting. magnificent. it just makes ur day better, well for me anyway.
had fun all day. so now it's time to study....after dinner that is.

Wednesday, April 14, 2004

here i go again. i'm about to talk bout the weather...yet again. well i can't help it!!! we're halfway through into autumn and it was like 32 degrees!!! i was sweating when i was walking! had to go to the library today to find stuff for my assignment. luckily...managed to get some info. and i've done my part. YAY!!! that lightened by burden...by a bit. it was even hotter when i went with Hui Yin to the take-away shop near our place for fish and chips! GOSH!!! sauna...
fine...nothing much happened today but somebody was pestering me to write something...

There was once a guy who suffered from cancer... a cancer that can't be treated. He was 18 years old and he could die anytime. All his life, he was stuck in his house being taken cared by his mother. He never went outside but he was sick of staying home and wanted to go out for once.
So he asked his mother and she gave him permission. He walked down his block and found a lot of stores. He passed a CD store and looked through the front door for a second as he walked. He stopped and went back to look into the store. He saw a young girl about his age and he knew it was love at first sight. He opened the door and walked in, not looking at anything else but her. He walked closer and closer until he was finally at the front desk where she sat.

She looked up and asked "Can I help you?" She smiled and he thought it was the most beautiful smile he has ever seen before and wanted to kiss her right there.

He said "Uh... Yeah... Umm... I would like to buy a CD." He picked one out and gave her money for it.

"Would you like me to wrap it for you?" she asked, smiling her cute smile again.

He nodded and she went to the back.

She came back with the wrapped CD and gave it to him. He took it and walked out of the store. He went home and from then on, he went to that store everyday and bought a CD, and she wrapped it for him. He took the CD home and put it in his closet. He was still too shy to ask her out and he really wanted to but he couldn't. His mother found out about this and told him to just ask her.

So the next day, he took all his courage and went to the store. He bought a CD like he did everyday and once again she went to the back of the store and came back with it wrapped. He took it and when she wasn't looking, he left his phone number on the desk and ran out...

!!!RRRRRING!!!

The mother picked up the phone and said, "Hello?"

It was the girl!!! She asked for the boy and the mother started to cry and said, "You don't know? He passed away yesterday...

" The line was quiet except for the cries of the boy's mother. Later in the day. The mother went into the boy's room because she wanted to remember him. She thought she would start by looking at his clothes. So she opened the closet. She was face to face with piles and piles and piles of unopened CDs. She was surprised to find all those CDs and she picked one up and sat down on the bed and she started to open one.

Inside, there was a CD and as she took it out of the wrapper, out fell a piece of paper. The mother picked it up and started to read it.

It said: Hi... I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me? Love, Jacelyn

The mother opened another CD...

Again there was a piece of paper. It said: Hi... I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me? Love, Jacelyn

i'm screwed. i'm dead. i've got this group assignment due on monday. and well...SIGH. i'm suppose to find articles for my part and i can't seem to find a single damn thing!!! i asked around...so at least i know where to start but still can't find anything! how pathetic is that!!! and i'm on holidays now...and what am i doing? watching tv, surfing aimlessly on the net, chat here chat there...everything but study and do my work!
got some easter eggs for easter...oh wait. make that one kinder surprise (thanks Hui Yin!) that came with a daffy duck toy!!! (YAY!!! *avoids the stares i'm getting from others while grabbing it outta everyone's reach*well others had a machine? the rest had some airplane) some small cadbury ones. and one from Felicia!!! thanks!!! it's looks like a small bowling pin to me with a bunny's face!
oooooo my dad just told me that he got a DVD for me!!! (*aHeM*. of course it's not the original) but he has no idea if it's clear or not since my mom is now watching tv... and regardless of whether it's clear or not...scooby dooby doooooo!!! bah! i have to wait for another 2 months and 1 week before i can watch it!!! NOOOOOOOOO
okie i'm trying to be a bit drama over here...since i watched Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen starring Lindsay Lohan on saturday with Hui Yin. it's not bad i guess...quite funny but i think we were the oldest ones in the cinema, excluding the moms who accompanied their children!
hmmm i can feel ppl getting bored..so i'll just end here. Toodles!

Saturday, April 10, 2004

tonight was the first time in my life where i went for easter vigil and it lasted less than one and a half hours! same goes for the good friday mass which lasted for less than 50 mins. well it was due to the fact that there were only like 20 of us?
ooo...during vigil mass just now, someone nearly burnt his hand with the candle he was holding! i don't really know what happened exactly cos i looked up just in time to see him walking to the side with this paper that was burning! and he threw it onto the ground and stomped on it to put it out. hmmm what paper, u might ask? well it's sorta the paper u put onto the candle so that the wax doesn't run down and like give u a shock of your life if it happens to drip down onto your skin.

Have a Blessed Easter!

YAY!!! it's easter break. FINALLY! some ppl already unofficially started their hols yest since they had no classes on thursdays. *gLare glAre*
well, after 6 weeks of classes...one week of break is not enough. my lecturer said that " Easter break is not holidays. it's a STUDY BREAK" well HELLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! of course it's a study break since we're piled up with assignments and mid semester tests.
remember my marketing lecturer who said that he wanted to answer the handphone that rings off in lecture? well today was his lucky day. a girl's phone rang and her friends were like pointing at her. and he ran all the way there but too late. the caller stopped calling. but a few seconds later it rang again and the girl said "It's my mom!" and he answered, "Hello. It's David here. Your daughter...What's ur name? Lucy is in a lecture with 200 other students. hello?" he said that she said "Goodbye" and hung up.
then like 5 minutes later...another phone rang. he rannnnn all the way again. and apparently he knew the person who called. "Hey Mike." he said while walking around...then "Eww..someone threw up here!" then he hung up. well that managed to hold our attention for a while.
ooooo and i learned some new stuff today! no...nothing to do with my degree...spent the last lecture fooling around with some ppl. we were trying to show off to each other what we could do with our hands. so i learnt 2. but i think like a lot of other ppl know how to do it as well. i'm a late learner....
well hope those who are on "holidays" enjoy themselves...well at least try to.

FRIENDS

Aaaah. that seven letter word. what comes to mind when u hear this? ross, rachel, chandler, monica, phoebe or joey?
there are many types of friends. to me, that is. there's the "Hi!" and "Bye!" friends. you know, people that you know only by face and name but have never really talked to them? then there's your classmates. from primary school, secondary school, college, tutorial mates. with these friends, we usually talk about school work and that's about it. like tute mates. after the semester is over, u would prob never see them again cos there are so many coursemates around.
but, i find that it's weird. like in primary school where u spent years with this group of friends and when u move on to secondary school, you get "seperated" into diff classes. so it's like, you were close for years but after that you hardly talk to each other and when you see each other it's like "Hey...Hi!". so they have now become "Hi" "Bye" friends.
then of course there's the clique that you have by being in the same class or same course. with these friends, i don't just talk about school but everything else. from movies to music to life. and of course there are other cliques u get and in my case it's from my hostel. it's amazing jus how with jus a few of us, how i come to know different types of people with their mixed up personality.
hmm what other types of friends are there? aaahh...that special friend.
ok...i have no idea what prompted me to write this...guess i'm just bored?
but i have to say i'm grateful for all the friends i have. all types. the "Hi" "Bye" ones, the ex-school mates. everyone.

well nothing much happened today except that...someone pulled my hair during lecture. u know who you are!!! grrr...and that's the second time she's done it to me!

Tuesday, April 06, 2004

i was suppose to have catered food tonight. but... the restaurant that was suppose to, had a power failure. apparently, some truck rammed into the electricity pole or something like that. somemore, the shop is jus down the road from my place.so..what to have for dinner? Hui Yin suggested we went to Maccers (McD's. it's called Maccers here...) which is like around 15-20 minutes walk from our place. it was already dark when the 3 of us started walking at 6 something. Amy was complaining how far it was. And on the way back, she was complaining how cold it was. so yea, she was the only one complaining.
but well, it was a nice night to go for a walk. the wind was cool and best part of all was that it's full moon! it has been full moon for like 2-3 nights now. simply beautiful. would have been nicer if we could see some stars but it's pretty cloudy tonight.

"We get it almost every night
When that moon is big and bright
It's a supernatural delight
Everybody dancin' in the moonlight

Dancin' in the moonlight
Everybody's feeling warm and bright
It is such a fine and natural sight
Everybody's dancin' in the moonlight"

today...hmm. wasn't a very good day. it still isn't. firstly, i don't understand this. i wake up like an hour before my alarm goes off and decide to go back sleeping, and when my alarm does go off...i can't wake up! and...fine. my classes usually start at 11 on monday with monday blues. but not today. we waited outside our supposedly classroom for our tutor. the past weeks we were at the comp lab. but while we were waiting, there were other students in the class already. and they were...well older. apparently it's a jewish law class. OOOPS. someone made a boo boo...and it was definitely not me. so fine...decided to hunt her down, hopeing that she was in her room but of course she wasn't. so gave up, called Hui Yin up. went back home... my next class was at 2. so came back to uni with hui yin...left at 1. there was a poster sale...check out what she bought by clicking on the link "Hui Yin"
secondly....it was hot today. yes...i'm always complaining about the weather.
thirdly...that's private. and let's forget bout that.
looking on the brighter side...i got an email today! YAY!! and i FINALLY managed to download the full version of Anastacia's "Left Outside Alone". it's a great song...been tryin for the past 2 weeks.
and it's been like months since i saw Jun online. so yea...

"And i wonder if you know
how it really feels,
to be left outside alone
when it's cold out here
Well maybe you should know
just how it feels
to be left outside alone"

Could hardly believe it when my mom told me this morning bout Malaysian Idol. sure sure...i've heard bout American Idol, Pop Idol, World Idol...even heard that there was gonna be Singapore Idol. but Malaysian Idol??? and the title's "Wujudkan Impian Menjadi Bintang"? well in translation it's sorta 'make your dream of being a star come true'. hmmm i wonder... how many type of languages of singing is allowed? english, malay, chinese, cantonese, tamil?, bollywood songs??? i have absolutely no idea...i'm just guessing. but DAMN! if i was back home i'd consider going and making a complete fool of myself. but then again maybe not.
hmm...i wonder who would be the judges? anita sarawak??? hopefully no one who resembles simon cowell's evil twin would be a judge. even my mom said that he was too much!!!
anyway...i wonder whether this would be a success...i remember a few years ago they had something like this but not so high profile. well hopefully i'll be back home to catch the auditions episode on tv!

As usual, nothing interesting happened. well during marketing lecture today, our lecturer showed us this advertisement. here's how it goes...
A small boy and his father was shopping at a supermarket. The small boy reaches out in the aisle and grabs a packet of sweets and dumps it into the shopping trolley. As usual, his dad just puts it back. Small boy takes it again, dumps it into the trolley and crossed his arms with pouting lips and looked at his dad. Again, he just puts it back. The kid loses it.He screams, "I want those sweeties, papa!" ( in french i think). He starts crying loudly, causing everyone else to turn and look at him. Still he carries on by pushing the trolley back and forth and when his dad makes a grab for him, he runs off and threw some chocolates onto the floor! And went to the meat section, and threw as many things as he could on the floor. Next, he was on the floor turning around in circles throwing a tantrum ( jus like Dewey from Malcolm in the Middle for those who saw the episode where he was screaming "I want it I want it!", he wanted some toy). And the shot moves to the dad and his grim face. The line that flashes across the screen was..."Use Condoms"

And this article below has no connection whatsoever with the ad.

Police greet student spray with capsicum

POLICE used capsicum spray on students yesterday to quell protests over rising university fees as rallies across the nation turned violent.

Thousands of protesters hit the streets in the most militant demonstrations in a decade, culminating in a confrontation with police in Sydney and more than 100 students storming and occupying the RMIT chancellory in Melbourne.

Up to 1500 students marched through the streets of Melbourne to RMIT.

In Sydney, police used capsicum spray to control about 600 protesters who attempted to storm the vice-chancellor's office at the University of Technology. Two people were arrested. UTS, which is yet to declare its position on HECS rises for 2005, earlier yesterday emptied staff offices and bolstered security.

In Brisbane, 200 students marched on Waterfront Place, in Canberra about 100 gathered in the city and in Perth about 150 marched through the CBD.

Students also rallied in Adelaide and regional centres.

National Union of Students president Jodie Jansen said the protests were the "largest, most lively and most militant" for years.

"We are angry at those universities who have chosen to chuck equity out the window and jump on the fees bandwagon," she said.

National Union of Students education officer Paul Coats was unapologetic about yesterday's invasion at the RMIT chancellery.

"It's inspiring that students are prepared to put their bodies on the line when necessary to make that protest heard," he said.

Mr Coats is one of the key figures in the NUS's campaign against Brendan Nelson's higher education reform package, particularly allowing universities to lift HECS fees by 25 per cent.

The occupation at RMIT, which is yet to make a decision on fee increases, involved students barricading themselves in the office of Vice-Chancellor Ruth Duncan and scuffling with police.

It was one of at least four ugly protests that Mr Coats has helped organise in the past four weeks, including last week's violent protest at Monash University.

Police have confirmed that in April 2001, Mr Coats – the son of Victorian Health Minister Bronwyn Pike – was one of the chief organisers of a violent occupation of the University of Melbourne Vice-Chancellor's office. He was not charged.
