Yippee! They finally located my fees. Yest I went to make noise again. Ok ok, it was more of enquiring what in the world happened. And someone called me back after her lunch break with the news. *phew*
Can't believe how much work I've been doing. Cos of YOU. Always going to the library, making me a copycat. But it's all good. Only one more question to go for next week's tute work. YEAH! I know...it's the first time I actually did a tute work one week in advance, directly after I just had the tute.
Yea well, the girls and I are suppose to turn over a new leaf. But like I told them, no matter which side of the leaf you are, it's all the same. Heh...what a way to motivate us eh?
I'm hungry. What shall I eat...
Latersss...waiting for my tute at 3pm.
Sigh...can't wait for tomorrow.

Falls Creek
A 6 hour bus ride.
Which took 7 hours each way since we stopped for toilet breaks 3 times.
Left at 12 something am on friday morning. Reached Falls Creek at 7 am. It was freezing when we got down from the bus. So we dragged ourselves to some shelter to err, take shelter from the cold. And to wait till we could get to the lodge. Finally, an hour later we made our way up to the lodge. Up as in, we had to walk up slopes. Snowy, icy slopes. Wasn't easy I tell you. Had to leave our bags by the pool side. Which really wasn't a pool unless it was for ducks or something. Forgot to take a pic of the so called "pool".
Welcome to Halley's Lodge
Then we got our ski gear, skis, poles, boots, parka, pants and goggles. In Amy's words, walking with the boots made you feel like you were Robocop.
All of us, except Yin, had never skiied before. So the moment we got our gear on, we decided to try skiing down this small slope. BIG MISTAKE. Amy went first and was screaming the whole way down. Next went Felicia who crashed somewhere near the bottom. Then after much delay, Yin , Syl and I were suppose to ski down together. But only Yin and I did. And I went "ARGHHHH!!!!" the whole way down. Or rather, halfway down. Since I fell. Oooh, that was not the first and last time I fell. Then I turned to see Syl still on top. And then I saw her move and she too screamed like mad. Apparently, she sorta slipped off the slope. So...after helping each other up we made our way to the ski lift. It took us ages to get there cos we tried walking in our skis but there were small slopes here and there. In the end, some of us just took off our skis and marched to the line.
I'm afraid of heights. And it's worse if I'm alone. I had to endure the whole entire ski lift ride on my own. I had my eyes closed the most of the time. BAH. When you get off the ski lift at the top of the mountain, you have to ski down and outta the way. Goodness me. I sorta skiied off thinking "Whee! I'm skiing!" but then I would have crashed into this sign board if it wasn't for this man who held his hand out to stop me. PHEW. So embarrassing! Luckily no one can really see my face since I had my goggles and beanie on.
Then we had this 2 hour class which I shortened it to 1.5 hours since I kept falling. It was no joke ok. Landed on my bum a few times. Had trouble with the darn skis. Yep, so you would have probably guessed that that was my first and last time skiing. Went back down for lunch. Yep, another ride down the ski lift. But luckily I sat with Yin so I didn't feel so bad. Had a nap which was unintentional after a shower. Then had a nice dinner. After a few games of pool, went to bed with an aching body.
Had to wake up early for breakfast. Yin and I stayed behind while the rest went up to ski. We walked a bit, found the souvenir shop, had a drink and took some photos. We chilled back in our room till it was lunch and till the rest got back. They went back up to ski again after lunch. By then it became foggy.
Now you see it
Now you don't
Ski Lift
Snowball
Had a nice dinner that night. I think we were the only table that was drinking so much water and mind you, ours was the smallest. Had a late night cos we were playing pool and chatting at the lounge.
Woke up early again. Imagine...6 people sharing a bathroom! Gosh, it was still foggy! Terrible...visibility was low. Decided to walk around. Caught this village snow shuttle that took us to this place called "The Hub" or something like that. It was just this shop, supermarket and a small cafe. Decided to walk back. Wasn't a very good idea actually. Cos we had to climb up this 2 steep slopes. I was literally crawling uphill cos was so scared that I would slip and fall. Ishhh. But it was a good experience.
Saw this fella outside our lodge.
Mini snowman
Huge Snowman
Finally left around noon. A bit behind schedule cos it was foggy.
And that my friends, was my trip. Thankfully, we all came back in one piece but not without aches and bruises here and there.

Somewhere out there
Aiyah...this Monash. Screwed up my payment of fees. My dad had already paid my fees by T/T(telegraphic transfer) last month. But I got an email the other stating that my fees were not paid yet. Luckily I always bring back with me the customer copy of the T/T thingy.
Went to student services yesterday and she made a photocopy of my thingy and said that someone would be in touch with me yest afternoon. Of course I didn't get a phone call. IF not do you think I would be blogging bout this?!
So went back today and managed to talk to the same nice lady who did it for me yesterday. She was surprised that I haven't heard from anyone and called someone upstairs (not GOD ok). Apparently, they have a lot of other students who are also in the same problem as I am. They can't bloody find the money we paid. So, was told not to worry since I had my customer copy of the T/T which is proof that I DID pay my fees and should hear from someone by mid next week. Mid week would be...wednesday yes? So if i don't hear anything from them by wednesday I've gotta go line up and talk to them again. So...ma-fan.
Ahhh, I just had to blog about that. Anywho, I sorta feel the excitement in me building up for the ski trip since now I've sorta settled everything I need to do, well except my bloody fees.
My printer is a lil' cuckoo. It has this extra lines on them when I print. The best part? I just bought 2 ink catridges for it. BAH. I just printed out my lecture notes for a lecture I had earlier in the week and it was 24 pages. I started off with $10.20 for my printing credit and am now left with $7.32. Guess what? The next lecture is 40 pages long. So is the one after that. BAH. So sorry trees...
Not much to do now in uni. Had lunch, did what I was suppose to do etc. Now I just have to set off a bit earlier than usual to find the comp lab I'm suppose to go to for my tute at 3.00pm. Hope I don't get lost.
A'ight. Toodles! Hope nothing unfortunate will happen to us. I'll post some pics up when I get back. Darn. That reminds me, I forgot to charge my camera's batteries. Hope I remember.

2nd Sem 2005
The new semester has started already. I get Mondays off again. No complains, as long as I get a day off.
One of the lecturers scared me. She said we have to read the whole entire textbook during the semester. 16 chapters. And on top of that, we have to read some handbook and some articles. BAH.
Going skiing this weekend! My excitement for the trip has not built up yet. Don't know why.
Oh my, they're showing the simpsons for 2 hours straight today. Darn, I better get started on my reading then.
Will blog more when I get back on Sunday. Hopefully I will post up some pics as well.
In the mean time, do pray that we come back from the trip in one piece. Please. Thankkk you.

Hello again Melbourne
What a horrible flight. It was raining when we took off. The plane was delayed by nearly 30 mins but on the bright side, we arrived as scheduled.
When I landed it was 8 degrees. *Brr*
It is so windy today. What a way to start off my first day of being back here.
Hardly slept on the plane(that's why it was horrible for me). Was trying very very hard not to take a nap in the afternoon so as to not screw up my sleep tonight but I just HAD to take a nap for an hour! And after watching Everwood, there was nothing to do, so I took my second nap. But that was only for like 20mins cos some naughty girl was messaging my on msn like mad.
Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince is on sale! Think my brother hasn't picked up the copy we pre-ordered. Or rather the one I pre-ordered back home. Ish. Can only get my hands on it like in maybe 3 weeks time.
I dread going to my toilet or kitchen cos it's freezing in there!
What to eat for dinner? Hmmm...I don't wanna go into my kitchen!!!

Had an interesting early thursday morning. There was no electricity around 1 something in the morning, close to 2 am. So had to tahan without my lovely aircon. Popped open a window and laid still in bed. My brother heard our next door neighbour exclaiming, "No electricity!!!" He's this teenager with this really loud voice. My mom heard a few of them getting into the car, drove off and came back 10 minutes later. What's up with that? *raises eyebrow*
Anywho, no reason to fret, electricty was restored soon enough. Think my brother had fun walking around with his handphone as a torchlight. And my dad could finally put his new torchlight to use. ^0^
Finished reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for the errr...3rd time? Now halfway throught the fourth book. Preparing myself for the latest book. Can't wait!

Neighbours
June has come and gone. July's here. Have yet to adjust the date on my watch. It's one day behind. I'm tooooo darn lazy.
Ulcers are annoying, irritating and downright painful. Stupid bloody ulcer has been there for a week already. It's quite big and I dislike brushing my teeth since its existence cos not only does the toothpaste sting it, so does the head of my toothbrush. *grumble grumble*
Was washing my dad's car yesterday evening with my dad. When I saw this man, in a sarong, looking at me. He was standing beside this tree just outside my gate, probably thinking that he could camouflage with his sarong or something. I was like "What the...?" Cos I remember vaguely that a few years ago, there was this man who kept ringing my neighbour's doorbell claiming that he's my neighbour's brother or something. My neighbour was working and so only his washerlady was in. She got frightened cos she think he's a nut. Yea, so I sorta freaked out but not that much since my dad was with me. But he was oblivious to the fact that the sarong man was looking at us washing the car since his back was towards him. So I ignored him and turned my back against him, hoping that by the time I turn around again, he'll be gone. Yep, I turned around moments later to find him walking into a house 3 doors away from me. Seriously, if he had stayed there any longer and came closer, I would have probably come close to thwacking him with the dirty rag I was using. HMPH.
Told my mom bout that. And she said he's the one! The one what?
He's the blinking dummy, who blows his car horn every freaking morning just before 9.30 am. Not just once, but many many times. Apparently he's been doing this for years. And apparently, he blows his car horn to hurry his son, who's like 20 over years old. BAH.
Seems that last week, my neighbour from 2 doors away on the other side, got so sick of the noise, he walked over in his pyjamas to give the sarong guy a piece of his mind (my dad saw it while watering the plants, yesh, I'm sure he really was and not just pretending). HAH! Serves him right. Also, my immediate neighbour was seen speaking to him one morning too. But I guess he's not taking heed to any of the complaints is he? BAH.
My mom says he even goes for morning walks in his sarong. Ugh, of all things to see early in the morning.
Lalala, ok no more bout that sarong guy.
Thunder can be deceiving. For the past few days, there has been plenty of thunder in the afternoon. *badaboom here badaboom there* BUT where's the rain?!
